Hello TVA! I am french citizen and i have been living in Thailand on a couple of 30 day tourist stamps. I want to get a 60+30 day renewed tourist visa. Where is the easiest place to do this? Is there any way to dodge the outbound tickets and bank statements ?

Thank you so so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A French citizen living in Thailand is inquiring about renewing their tourist visa for 60 days plus an additional 30 days. They are looking for the easiest location to apply for this visa and inquiring about the possibility of avoiding requirements such as outbound tickets and bank statements. Community responses suggest that Vientiane is a favorable option, as it currently does not ask for proof of funds or outbound travel. Experiences shared include quick processes at Vientiane and other locations.

Vientiane ! Je l'ai fait la semaine dernière, très fastoche. Tu te pointes avec ton passeport, et 2 photos. Tu récupères ton visa le lendemain après midi. Tu peux m'envoyer un message pour les détails si tu veux :)

Vientiane is the only thai consulate currently that doesn't require any of the 3-proof-ofz.

I have done Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for 2 SETVs this year. The process was fast and simple and took no more than the 5 minutes to fill out the form and pay the $40. No questions. Just have proof of funds and flighs.
