TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about transitioning from a Non-O based marriage visa, which they've been on since last year, to a Non-B visa after securing a job. The conversation discusses the legality of holding a work permit under a COVID extension and suggests contacting the immigration office for clarification.

And just like that' we're done. What we're not gonna do is debate whether you can or can't hold a work permit legally on a covid extension :O because at the end of the day it's neither here nor there to VISAS :O

The O/P said they'd take their employer and go talk to the immigration office so we're done.

And you were on a Non-O visa where you used to bounce out and back in every 90 days OR were you on a yearly extension from the immigration office?

I don't want to do a marriage visa, I depend too much on it, I will go then to immigration with the people from the company, thanks for your information.

Personally,
@Jona****
, I'd go back on the year extension (if you could), all you'd need to do is meet the requirements and you'd get another year marriage extension

AND

you can legally work on it too.

To answer your question, I think you'd have to go to your immigration office with someone from your employer to find out IF they can meet the requirements to get a 90 day Non-B issued inside the country and if you could apply for it from covid extensions from a marriage extension.
