TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting requirement in Thailand necessitates that holders of certain long-term visas report their current address to the local immigration office every 90 days. For a visa granted for 5 years that allows stays of up to 180 days, the holder must either exit Thailand and re-enter or apply for a 180-day extension from the local immigration office. The process includes filling out the TM47 form, which can be submitted in person or via a visa agent for the initial report, while subsequent reports can be done online.

Im about to do this. Fill a TM47 form and you can either take to immigrtion in person or use a visa agent for the first time. All 90 day checks after that can be done online.

- The visa if granted is for 5 years

- Entry permitted per stay is 180 days

- Every 90 days, one is required to report at local immigration office with documents

- Every 180 days you are required to either exit Thailand and re-enter or visit local immigration office for another 180 days extention.

- with extension you are stamped again for 180 days but the next time you need to exit and re-enter
