Can someone please explain clearly what I have to do around day 90 about reporting?

Do I have to do it?

Is it online or in person?

What information do I have to provide?

And then what do I do at day 180 when flying in and out?

Thankyou 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, expatriates must report their address every 90 days. This reporting can initially be done in person at an immigration office or via mail, with online options available for subsequent reports. Key points include the necessity of a TM30 receipt, the requirement to present your passport, and the importance of completing this process to avoid a fine. If you leave the country within the 180-day period, your 90-day reporting resets upon your return.

Easiest would go to the local immigration with your passport, push the button on the pez-dispenser near the entrance …option that says 90 day, take the ticket & wait around 5-10 minutes. Go from there. Or just send wife or gf with your passport. Or do online.

Where are you staying? The procedure isn't exactly the same when it comes to documents needed. It differs a bit between immigration offices. Do you have a TM30 receipt in your passport. It's crucial at most offices and non-negotiable.

-Yes, you have to do it

-First report is in person second report can be online but as you have to leave the country at 1:80 days for DTV you won’t do a second 90 day report

-Take your passport

-Go to the airport and get on a plane to another country and then return to Thailand

@Anna ********
first 90 day report needs to be done after day 90 to guarantee that a 180 day stamp doesn't have to do a second one

If you don't do it then you pay a 2000B fine whether 8 days late or 8 months late with no other consequences. First report must be

done "in person" i.e. by mail or at Immigration then subsequent reports can be done online.

You can report online and when coming in and out your 90 day resets from the day you come back. It’s easy to report at the local office and it’s just photocopies of pages from your passport. They can normally be done at the immigration. I have never done online and find it easy to do directly

@Paul *******
you have to do the first report in person and given you only do one report for a DTV You’ll probably never do a second report online.
