What happens to my Non-ED visa if I am dismissed from school in Thailand?

If you are on a Non-ED visa and are dismissed from your school in Thailand, your visa status can change. According to comments from the community, if you have a standard visa, you can remain in Thailand until the visa's expiration date. However, if you are on an extension of stay due to your educational status, that extension will be cancelled immediately upon dismissal, and you must leave the country the same day or switch to another visa if eligible.
