Hello everyone, I have a question about my visa status. I am now on non-ed visa. In case of dismissal from school, does my visa automatically canacel or can I stay till my visa validity.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are on a Non-ED visa and are dismissed from your school in Thailand, your visa status can change. According to comments from the community, if you have a standard visa, you can remain in Thailand until the visa's expiration date. However, if you are on an extension of stay due to your educational status, that extension will be cancelled immediately upon dismissal, and you must leave the country the same day or switch to another visa if eligible.

Your extension is cancelled the moment you are dismissed regardless of the extension date.

That will depend if you are actually on a visa (the initial visa either gotten in Thailand or a visa from an embassy abroad) or you have a stamp that says “extension of stay”.

If the former then you can stay until the date you were stamped until.

If the latter then the moment the reason for the extension stops then so does it. You must leave the same day or switch to another kind of visa/extension if you qualify.
