Is there some grace period that im allowed to stay after divorce? I dont have kids and my marriage visa is expiring in September. My flight out of thailand is on the end of June. Im not sure if i divorce now can i stay until end of June, is there any options?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you divorce while on a marriage visa in Thailand, you must visit the immigration office on the same day to cancel your extension. After cancellation, you may apply for a different extension if eligible or receive a short-term stamp allowing just a week to leave the country. There could be options like applying for a 60-day COVID extension, but it is advised to consult with immigration before proceeding with the divorce.

you got the actions that need to be taken once you sign the divorce decree, now whether you follow them or not is on you

My advice (seeing as land borders are opening again; Cancel the extension, exit the country and come back in on a 30 day visa exempt entry and take a 30 day extension for 1900baht

Good Luck in your endeavor (y)

IF you look at the stamp in your passport I think you will see that it says "extension of stay permitted until" and has a date until Sept (that's NOT a visa 😕 )

Be that as it may

IF you're on an extension based on marriage and you get divorced you need to go to the immigration office the day you sign the divorce decree and cancel your extension. Then you either apply for another extension (if you qualify for it) OR you could get a 7 day stamp to get out of thailand in a week.

IF you were to divorce BEFORE May 24th you might be able to apply for a 60 day covid extension as soon as you cancel your marriage extension but I'd check with your immigration office before you get divorced to make sure you can, otherwise you're gonna hafta leave the country

Is it possible not to cancel my extension based on marriage? I mean after i sign the divorce i just not cancel the extension, just stay two more months until my flight in june?

, regardless you cancel your extension at the immigration office or not, your extension is invalid (you are not qualified for that extension anymore) when your divorce gets signed and official. That means you will be staying in Thailand illegally for two more months.

How will immigration know?

They have ways and means! Starts with the ex-wife and her sisters! 🤣. A visa/extension in breach is still the same as being on overstay @500 baht/day with possible deportation/ban

I am wondering the same thing…
