Hi, I wonder what is the earliest possible date to extend my covid extension at the immigration. I used to go there one week ahead, but I wonder if I could also go two weeks before it is due to give me some time in case I get denied.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can typically apply for a visa extension when you have 30 days or less remaining on your current visa stamp. Some offices, like those in Buriram, Bangkok, and Chiang Mai, may allow you to apply with 45 days or less remaining, while places like Jomtien recommend visiting the week your stamp is set to expire. It's important to check with your specific office for their rules.

, thanks a lot, that is very helpful. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am currently in Hua Hin but also thinking about Surathani Province.

Choi Tomato Bangkok allows you to apply when you have 45 days or less.

Be prepared to be able to provide a concrete reason you have to apply for "unable to travel due to Covid" extension in such a long advance, and Plan B in case.

they are both 30 days or less

Most offices allow you to apply for a new extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp

SOME offices (Buriram ,Bangkok, Chiang Mai) allow you to do it when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp

AND

Then there's an office like Jomtien which says to come back the week your stamp's expiring to get another extension. ๐Ÿ˜•

you wanna narrow down which (of the 70+) offices you use to get your extension?
