Hi Guys!

As mentioned previously, My marriage extension visa status immigration not yet get back to me. As the amnesty end this week and Today i called them they said her boss not yet give her the result.. She ask me to wait.. and the consideration stamp on my passport already expired since 9 Oct 2020.. So would like to ask am i safe to stay until the result out without a new consideration stamp? Or i need to go down to immigration get a new consideration stamp? As on 9 Oct they only ask me to wait.. because of amnesty visa...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the status of their marriage extension visa in Thailand, which has been pending with immigration. Their consideration stamp expired on October 9, 2020, and they seek clarification on whether they are safe to remain in Thailand without a new stamp, or if they need to visit immigration for an update on their application.

and yourself are referring to two different under consideration issues. Can you confirm that you are applying to extend your non immigrant O visa based on marriage. If you are then the usual length of time you are under consideration is around a month. With all the current COVID-19 issues this time may be longer. It wouldn't do any harm to pop into immigration and find out the latest on your application. I personally wouldn't be too worried. When I did my last extension my passport was stamped with a 3 week under consideration stamp and the immigration officer told me that they would be phoning me in around a month's time when they got the decision back from (I presume) Bangkok.

I’m doing non immigrant o visa base on marriage. (Extension type). I called them today they said the status not yet ready. Anyway I will just wait then. Since they mentioned don’t need any consideration stamp again .

actually I’m not worry about the result. I’m afraid if one day have a police check and they will question me why I didn’t get a new consideration stamp when my visa status not yet ready. Able to show them the blue receipt as proof?

I think there must be a huge backlog in Bangkok. Just sit tight and I am sure it will resolve itself.
