Should I use my existing employment contract or create a new one for my DTV application in Thailand?

My ED visa is expiring soon and I plan to apply for DTV as digital nomad. I m Singaporean and have a remote part-time job from Singapore.

I had Ed visa for past 2 years before DTV but have also been working remotely part-time with Singapore company while holding that Ed visa.

When I apply for DTV, do u think it’s better for me to show my contract with Singapore company while holding Ed visa here?

Or should I do a new employment contract showing recent dates?

Anyone’s experience with applying at Thai embassy in Singapore?

You can simply present your current employment contract and also ask your employer to sign a letter confirming that you’re allowed to work remotely.

In my case, I was approved for the DTV using a four-year-old contract along with a letter from my employer stating that I work remotely and that I won’t take jobs from Thai companies. Prior to that, I was on visa exemptions and ED visas.

I also had no problem using my Thai bank account to show proof of funds. In my experience, being straightforward and honest really does go a long way.
