It’s my understanding that if you leave before your 90 day report your 90 day reset the day you return. DO NOT FORGET TO GET YOUR REENTRY PERMIT. If you don’t your non o is void
When I came back in on my multiple re entry stamp, the immigration officer put a slip of paper in my passport. This showed when my 90 day report was due, it says on it to keep in your passport.
What they said above. If you’re out of the country when it’s due there’s nothing for you to do except note your return date and apply the 90 days from that date. Just make sure you obtain a Return Permit prior to leaving otherwise your visa extension will be cancelled and you’ll have to go through the whole process again
Richard Hornby sorry but there is nothing such as a visa extension. A visa technically cannot get extended. A single entry visa becomes invalid upon entry. The only thing Thai Immigration is extending, is your stay permit. That's at least what the extension stamp in your passport says = stay permit
My apologies for getting the wording wrong. I’m currently still in Thailand based on the fact the I was given a 12 month extension (permission to stay) to my original 90 days which was a visa. Semantics, pretty sure we all know what’s being referred to 😎
