TLDR : Answer Summary
The time to get the 12-month stamp after the maturation of bank funds can vary. Generally, it takes around 4 weeks for approval, and you may need to provide substantial paperwork along with your application, including proof of relationship and home visits by immigration officials. During the processing period, a re-entry permit can be obtained, allowing temporary departures as long as you're back before the processing period ends, which could be 30 to 60 days depending on the immigration office's workload.
4 Weeks.I did it 2 months ago.But it's Not only the money in a bankaccount. It's about 5kg paperwork fotos of you and your wife in front of your home with the house nr.has to be readable and a foto of you cleaning in the house and cooking in the kitchen(No jokes)About a week under consideration someone of the immigration will come to visit you at home and ask you and neighbours and the mayor or helper of the mayor of the village you live ,some questions about ,your behavior or problems with neighbours. It's horror but doable!
You can get a re-entry permit while it is under consideration as long as you are back before the under consideration date. The period is usually 30 days but it can be 60 if they're busy. All marriage extension applications are sent to either Chiang Mai or Bangkok for approval, hence the under consideration stamp.
