Thought we could arrive early and sneak in an early check in to leave sufficient time for a re entry stamp. Unfortunately this plan failed ๐.
Will 3 hours be sufficient time to get the re entry done (all paper work completed already) and through immigration?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster asked if three hours would be enough time to complete the re-entry process at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Several commenters shared positive experiences, noting that the re-entry process took around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the queue. They confirmed that with paperwork done in advance, the process at Departure 2 is usually quick, although there is a service charge of 200 baht in addition to the permit fee.
, the last time my girlfriend passed through she had the form already completed in her passport with 1k and they didn't charge her the service charge but they told her that next time she didn't have to fill out the form beforehand. I'm surprised that immigration there is getting away with pushing people into paying for the service?

Once you check in and go thru security you can get a re-entry permit in Departure 2 and it doesn't take that long at all.
Be advised they charge a 200baht service fee in addition to the cost of the re-entry permit
