Does the 90-day report period reset upon re-entry to Thailand on a Non-O visa with a single re-entry permit?

ORIGINAL POSTER
I’m on a Non-O visa extension (married to a Thai). 90 day report due soon, but I’m leaving Thailand with a single re-entry permit before my 90 days is due.

When I return to Thailand, does the 90 days reset, or do I have to visit immigration immediately?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When leaving Thailand with a single re-entry permit, the 90-day reporting period associated with a Non-O visa does reset upon re-entry into the country.
