TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a visa in Jomtien, individuals should prepare the same documents required during the initial application. This may include bar tabs from the past six months for certain types of visas, as well as proof of participation in soft power activities if applicable. It's advised not to use an agent for this process, as many suggest that handling the extension personally or opting for a border bounce might be easier.

In Jomtien you need to bring all your bar tabs from the past 6 months.

You need everything you did when you applied and if soft power may need evidence of participation as well.

Don't pay an agent that's for morons to do .

Best thing is to just do a border bounce hands down!

I'm taking my GF to Vietnam for a holiday. But it's good to know if I wasn't well and stuck in bed I could still do it. Some of us have money and aren't living on ΰΈΏ500 a day.

Depends how far you are from a border. Then there is a need for a visa for the other country. Incidentals such as food and drink during your journey. If you have to stop overnight a hotel room is required. Time away from home that you could be doing something useful or even productive.
