What employment verification do I need for a Thai visa if I just started a remote job?
I just started a remote job this month, I have the required 500,000 baht in my bank account since May and more from my previous employer.
My employer is happy to write a letter confirming my employment and that I wont be doing business in Thailand. Is that all I need (in terms of employment) or will they need/ask for 3 months payment from this employer?

Yes that's all you need but no one here can guarantee if you'll be successful. Your application could be rejected on factors which are not known to the public.

It depends where you apply, similar applicants have been approved but approval via a new job is embassy specific.

Anonymous participant I think similar have been approved there. You can double check in threads. London requires the 500k to be seasoned for 10 days so you are ok there.

Anonymous participant it is also email them to confirm it is ok, they are responsive to emails. When I first started looking into the DTV I had some concerns and they were very encouraging with telling me to apply.

OPThoughtfulFlower8148 I know how tough it is out there. I'm not in the IT field either my background is sales, policy, and executive assistant. I had applied to over 100 remote jobs and i got 3 responses back and 1 interview stage (which is what I got now). The company is within the AI space but not not like Chat GPT or Claude, and my role is sales support so nothing technical. I applied largely on LinkedIn which does have a lot of ghost remote jobs but there are legit ones too. I looked and applied on remote specific sites to, if you want them let me know and I'll dig around my browser history and send them. As frustrating as it is, you just have to keep at it, I wish I could say something different.

You should be able to higlight 3 month salary from this company in your bank statement also

OPahh I did see this earlier but I had read online that the employer contract and letter was enough and this only applied to freelancer. Maybe that was me wishfully thinking so I can apply sooner 😅 thanks for the help
