Hi friends,

My DTV visa got approved yesterday.

So now, when I enter to Thailand, I prepared my:

1- Visa pdf

2- TM30

3- In case my visa application pdfs

Do I need anything else?

Also I read some posts in groups that I don't need return ticket to show, then what should I fill out in TDAC form?

Thanks for the replies,

Best.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on necessary documents for entering Thailand with a DTV visa and guidance on filling the TDAC form, particularly regarding the return ticket requirement. Comments from other users provide insights that TM30 may not be required for entry, while discussing the optional nature of the return ticket section in the TDAC form. They recommend printing the DTV visa confirmation and advise checking with immigration officials on arrival.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

You don't need to fill in the return date but, at least in my case a bad-tempered migration officer in BKK scolded, that no date was inserted and marked it on my printout. Directly after that she stamped my passport and I was on the way to my luggage... 😊

@Julian ******
had to be a while back seeing as they're not even asking for the print out or the QR code anymore at airports. They can see when they scan your passport if you filed a TDAC or not

The return ticket section on the TDAC is optional to fill in.... I think!!

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

No need for TM30. It is registered after you enter Thailand.

my stuff still there my girlfriend also staying there currently so does that mean my tm30 still active?

Your TM30 runs out, when you change adress.

It is the landlord / hotel who are responsible for making the TM30, everytime a foreigner arrive at their premises.

You can show a hotel booking but that is not a TM30. A TM30 is registered within 24 hours of you arriving at accommodation. A hotel cannot register you till you check in. The TM30 you had is not valid now.

I checked in at May and paid for 6 months then left the country without checkout the hotel

But the immigration have your record of leaving the country. Whatever, there is no need to show a TM30 when entering the country. I think yiu are totally misunderstanding what the TM30 is. Just forget about the TM30 till you reregister. You are both overthinking and over complicating matters.

okay then i will just fill it out the tdac like other comments say then go inside the country via my visa pdf

@Sabri **************
That is all you need. Have a great time.

Onward travel isn't required on the TDAC, leave it blank

Just print the PDF of the visa, and make sure you fill out the online TDAC (no need to print it as they can see at passport control if you filed one or not)

Dunno what you mean about your TM30, <- seeing as you have to be IN thailand and at an address where you're staying to file one

Here's the official TDAC web site

and once you leave/come back you or where ever you stay needs to file a new TM30

There is no requirement to show a TM30 when you stamp IN to thailand
