TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their 30-day visa in Thailand without having a TM30 form, mentioning they have all necessary documents but lack the TM30. Community responses indicate that while some immigration offices may be lenient, a TM30 is generally required and a rental contract cannot substitute for it. Users share their experiences, suggesting that having proof such as a hotel booking can help, but the absence of a TM30 could potentially pose problems during the extension process.
I also need 30 days more. I have a house since some years but it is now sold with the condition that I can stay on and off for another year. No rental agreement, no TM30. Do I face problems with my visa extension?
Some offices require you to have a copy. Some will not require it if they see you have one in the system already. I don't know of any that just don't care. And no a rental agreement is not okay. It should have been filed within 24 hours of you arriving there, so a rental agreement is just admission that you're not in legal status and will be fined
