They will want a photocopy of your Lao entry stamp from your passport. Some have said two copies, can’t hurt. Sign them.

Can I apply for a DTV in Vientiane? I'd like to apply for myself （British ） and my girlfriend （Filipina ）...so Soft Thai category. I can show the required funds in uk bank only. Is that acceptable to obtain DTVs？

yes you can and yes a UK bank is acceptable to get approved. Need to make an appointment online with Vientiane.

Not applied but Laos accept entry stamp as proof of being there. Emailed them and they confirmed this
