Has anyone applied to DTV from countries other than the USA and the UK and been approved? Did you provide the documents in your local language or in English? Does the embassy require any documents in English, such as employee contract etc?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users have shared their experiences applying for a DTV visa from various countries outside the USA and UK. The consensus is that the Thai embassy often requires documents to be submitted in English, with translations for local languages being necessary in some cases. Specific examples include applicants from Finland and the Netherlands, who needed to provide documents in English and Dutch, respectively. It's advised to check directly with the relevant Thai embassy for precise requirements.

In Finland they require you to give documents in English (for DTV). Finnish was not accepted. For example work certificate had to be translated to English

Either Thai, English, or the official language of the country you are applying from should be accepted. Pretty sure I never had to translate a bank statement in German language when submitting to the Thai embassy in Germany. Unlike the LTR, the DTV is locally applied for. For the LTR however, which is centrally approved, all documents had to be Thai, English, or properly translated.

"Documents in languages other than Thai or English must be translated into either Thai or English and notarized by an authorized body or a diplomatic/consular mission." This relates to DTV foreign documents.
