Non O-A extension is due soon by end of this month.

Apart from copies of USA passport pages and the income affidavit, ( still valid until end June) is there any other documentation REQUIRED please?

I’ve found reference to a TM7! So photos are on the list.

What’s the earliest I can apply? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the necessary documentation for extending their Non O-A visa, which is due soon. They mention having a USA passport and a valid income affidavit. Other comments suggest that requirements can vary by immigration office, with some offices requesting additional proof of income and supporting documents. It is advised to visit the local immigration office for a specific list of requirements and to apply for the extension 30-45 days before the current stay expires.

There is no one size fits all list of what you will need to get a yearly extension based on being over 50..

Each office has it's own particular things. I'd stop out at the immigration office BEFORE you need your extension and get the hand out that is specific to that office.

The US Embassy income affidavits are valid in any Province no matter where they're issued from.

I did not see reports that said the income affidavits were not accepted in Chiang Mai but that people were asked for additional documentation to prove the amount on the affidavit is real

Which Thai immigration office are you using? Are you still using Chiang Mai ?You can apply 30-45 days before end of current stay. It varies from immigration office to immigration office. Some immigration offices are asking for proof of income with supporting documents in addition to the Affidavit of Income. Again...different immigration offices have differing opinions. Its best if you visit your local immigration office and pick up a list of requirements for the Extension of Stay. Have you filed a TM30 for your address of record in Thailand?

I am confused by your question. To gain an additional year, you make a border run. If you are reapplying in your home country, you start over and follow the same process as you did with the initial application.

I'm confused by your answer. There is no need to do a border run as far as I'm aware. I think the process can be completed at the Immigration Office.
