What documents do I need for a yearly extension of my NON-O visa in Thailand?

Hi if possible I would like a little help/confirmation that I have done everything correctly. I entered Thailand on 28th December on a 90 day single entry non o visa issued for being over 50. I hope to get the yearly extension when it expires. I have been to immigration and submitted the TM 30 and have my receipt. I have a bank account in my name with the required amount and shown as funds from overseas. Does that cover everything for now or is there anything else I need to do. Many thanks for any help or advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking confirmation on whether they have completed all necessary steps to prepare for a yearly extension of their NON-O visa after entering Thailand on a 90-day single entry. They have submitted the TM 30 form, have a Thai bank account with the required funds, and are asking if there's anything else they need to do. Commenters advise on additional documentation required for the extension application and clarify that there's no need to prove funds are from abroad as long as the funds have been in the account for at least two months.

When you were at the immigration office filing the TM30 did you ask them for the handout listing the documentation requirements you need when you go apply for the year extension?

Stuff like the bank letter, update the bank book the date you go to the immigration office appropriate copies of your passport, visa, entry stamp, departure card, filled out TM7 application for extension, hand drawn map to your house, your lease, etc

no I didn't ask. But I will now certainly call in again when I'm close by and ask for the handout. Thanks for letting me know.

does the non-OA extension for one year need to be submitted with 15+ days left on their stamp

nope, that is a requirement if you're applying for the initial 90 day non-O visa inside the country. The O/P entered on a Non-O visa they got from their country before they came here

He can apply for a new yearly extension at most offices when there is 30 days or less left on the entry stamp right down until the date it expires <_ but I would not recommend waiting until the last day in case you need another document or something as you'd run on overstay

there is no requirement to show that the funds came from abroad when applying for the year extension

You need to have the funds in the thai bank account in your name only at least 2 months on the date you apply for the year extension. SO depending on when you got the funds in, you can go 2 months after that (hopefully you have enough time on your 90 day entry stamp).

thank you. The funds are in the bank and I have another two and a half months left on my original visa. So that means I can go to immigration 2 weeks before the visa expires to apply for my extension. Will that be enough time. Thanks.

if you entered on December 28 on 90 day visa you only have a little over 1

months left on your admitted until stamp (approx March 24)
