I need some advice please.

For DTV for business owner who wishes to work remotely from Thailand (currently in USA). What can the applicant use for proof of remote work?

1. Does THB500,000 have to be in personal account only? Can it be in business account?

(i have read on another post that someone got rejected because the money was in the business account)

2. Is there anything else we will need for proof of remote work for the DTV?

What we have now are

โœ… Cover Letter explaining why applicant wants to apply for DTV and indicating monthly income per month, job description)

โœ… Company Website

Thank you kindly,

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand as a business owner working remotely, you need to provide adequate proof of your remote work. Here are the specific considerations: 1. **Bank Account**: The THB 500,000 must be in a personal bank account, not a business account. Having money in a business account may lead to a rejection of your application. 2. **Proof of Remote Work**: You should include a letter stating that you are an employee who can work remotely and will not conduct any business activities within Thailand. A company website and a cover letter detailing your job description and income are also essential. In addition, be prepared to present multiple months of personal bank statements as required by the embassy.

i did... But it's pretty vague and it doesn't say anything regarding whether or not it has to be business account or personal and as far as the portfolio for remote work... It doesn't say much more than that.

It's a lot of money. Want to make sure everything is done correctly and not get rejected.

yeah. It is a lot

Money must be in a personal liquid account Not business, investment, bonds etc. And just write a letter to yourself confirming you are an employee who is allowed to work remotely in Thailand and will not do any business within Thailand

your first post was definitely a comment as my answer did not warrant a reply And now Iโ€™m done wasting my time on a d***๐Ÿ˜‚

What has that rant got to do with anything. I never understand extraneous comments to a valid response from a valid question

(i have read on another post that someone got rejected because the money was in the business account) And what does this tell you. The intelligence level of DTV applicants is hilariously low๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Youโ€™ll probably need a document stating you can work from abroad, and the money in a bank in your name and as many months of bank statements the embassy you apply at requires

can you please utilise the search function on the page? It will give you amazing answers which have already been provided to these questions multiple times.

To answer your question, youโ€™re a business owner. As stupid and crazy as this sounds, write yourself a letter, from you as the director on company headed paper; to confirm that 1. You are able to work remotely & 2. You do not have any Thai Clients & that the work which is carried out, fully complies with all laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
