TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the requirements for applying for a DTV visa in Thailand, specifically regarding the necessity of having 500,000 baht deposited in a personal bank account before application. It is noted that the timeframe for maintaining this balance can vary by embassy, with some requiring it to be established one month before application, while others may ask for six months. Contributors emphasize the importance of having the funds in a personal account rather than a business account to demonstrate personal ownership. Suggestions for proof include company bank statements and business registration documents.

I submitted company bank statements and still got approved but I also submitted the company business license together.

There’s been a few posts from people that have been declined when using a business account. They want the money in a personal bank to show that the money is yours.

The fact that you can prove you own 100% of the company is irrelevant. It’s the companies money until you transfer it to your account.

They might ask you for business registration or stickers of incorporation, so I would recommend you include it, to prove you have access to those funds.

Article of incorporation 😅

To vaguely answer your question, it can depend on where you are going to apply from.

I’ve heard some countries will be OK with 1 month, some wanting 6 months. It can vary from time to time.

I’m sure you’ll get some recent comments with their experience.

you didn't even answer the question, it wasn't about seasoning, it was about account name.

“can I just send it over from my bank account” which would imply the funds are in his business bank account and not his personal account” - which would then pose the next issue, of the seasoning.

You've been in the group for 4 months, this question is asked almost daily, please scroll through previous posts and see that the answer usually depends on what embassy you are applying at. The answer hasn't changed since you asked this question 4 months ago.

things can change all the time & there’s no issue asking for updated information. This is an advice group, and should be used as such for questions. Just like your post back in February regarding the various issuing places for passports.

There was, as you say “multiple posts” however information was blurred & therefore you asked it yourself in a post. Did people comment on yours saying “search and scroll” - just be helpful. No need for the smart ars* comments.

it's not unreasonable to ask people to search here first. Nothing has changed. And as answered nothing has changed so depends on the embassy that you apply. Yes agree it is advise group but people need to search there needs here and other places first. Then once they are ready to apply ask basic questions that haven't been asked a 1000 times.people that have been successful have posted step by step process for others to follow. But people become lazy and want instant answers take some personal responsibility for your application process

You even get people asking what is 90 day report mean _ do l have to leave every 90 days. Come on these people need kick up the ar$#@ se

things like bank account in your name only rarely change if ever. Again this question is asked almost daily, and so the daily replies are the most current info, and that hasn't really budged in general.
