Hi. I've had an extension to my tourist visa. By the time my visa expires, I'll have been in Thailand for a little longer than 90days. Do I need to report to immigration at 90days as a tourist? Or is this for other types of visas? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are on a tourist visa and have received an extension, you do not need to report to immigration at the 90-day mark as this requirement typically applies to other types of visas. Since tourist visas and their extensions are generally valid for up to 90 days, reporting is not necessary if you will be leaving Thailand before the 90-day period ends.
The general rule is that if your visa or extension isn't 90 days, then it doesn't require 90 day reports. There are some exceptions like Covid extension, but generally if you are on tourist visa and extension, you can only be in Thailand 90 days so you don't need to report because you'll be leaving by the time it matters.
thanks but I got a covid extension and the expiry date goes beyond 90days. Would you know if its possible to extend further or do I need to do a visa run? TIA
