TLDR : Answer Summary
If you leave Thailand on an ED visa with a reentry permit, you still need to complete your 90-day report, regardless of your exit. This is mandatory since it is based on your presence in Thailand for 90 days or longer. If your 90-day reporting period is before your departure, you can report as usual; however, if you depart and return after your due date for the report, you might face penalties.

if you're 90 day report is before you fly out, no need to report early, but if you fly out few weeks after your 90 day report. some immigration will catch u not doing the report on the due date and "might" fine you for not reporting.

Correct and day of arrival is day nr 1.

Mission accomplished, was the 1st one. All ok. Follow ups hopefully online. Next date 22 Dec. But as I'm leaving on 01.10 and returning late Oct. I will calculate next one on arrival. Correct?

You have to report.

Robert Lagas just 1 simple question, if I'm leaving on day 91 will that be accepted under the term -15/+7 days tolerance days or do I have to do my reporting at least on day 90 !? ( O-A visa)
Robert *******
You have to make this report between 15 days before till 7 days after due date. So you're correct if you do not report and fly out weeks later than there is a good chance you will be fined for not making the report on time.
Robert *******
You do this report because you're 90 days or longer inside the country, the visa or the fact that you leave does not matter. Just count the days your are inside Thailand.

Paul Darby So if you have an ED visit and do your 90 day extension if you do not leave the country during that time you also have to do a 90 day reporting and that is not done automatically with the extension?

But he is not talking extension.

He is asking about reporting.

And the required report every 90 days (proof of life lol)

Starts again with your return.

The counter goes back to 0 and day one is the first day you arrive back.

You also have to report residence on the first day back too.

Depending on your local immigration interpretation of the rules.

I left recently with my 90 days +2 expired.

Just to be safe I still fronted and did the 90 days report.

Because its linked to your TM6 I don't chance it now.

The fines could come up and bite you in the future sometime.

Im taking about an ED visa which is what the original poster asked about. For that you need to be here in the country on the 90 day extension.

My friend, you are incorrect 90 day is a reporting period and not (as you state) an extension. The poster clearly states 90 day report. Perhaps you are talking about something different. I have a Marriage Visa (actually7 an incorrect term but everyone recognizes it) which expires in Feb 2019. My 90 day reporting was due on 15 Jul 2018. But my wife and I went to Australia for the period 30 Apr to 1 Jun 2018. My 90 day reporting commenced again when I returned to Thailand and is based on my arrival date as shown on my (now) used re-entry permit. I did my 90 day report at Immigration at Promanada yesterday receiving a stamp to report again on 17 Nov 2018. If you were correct, I would have been overdue for my 90 day report by well over 1 month. I am correct based on my own current experience.

umm, im pretty sure thats not how it works. you have to be present in the country for each 90 day extension.
