Do I need to do 90 day reports and obtain a re-entry permit if I extended my tourist visa?

I'm happy to report that I too received the (embassy letter) extension dated until Nov 30th at Khon Kaen immigration. However, I see some additional text under the date about 90 day reports and re-entry permits. Does this apply to me even though I originally arrived on a tourist visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received a visa extension letter from Khon Kaen immigration and is inquiring about the implications of additional text regarding 90-day reports and re-entry permits. A commenter clarified that the 90-day report will likely be necessary, but the re-entry permit does not apply to those on a tourist visa.

The 90 day repot you'll (probably) need to do. The re-entry permit won't apply to you.
