Hello everyone,

If you leave Thailand with a re-entry permit, does it change the date for the 90 day report?

I ask because I have a little paper from inmigration that says the date for next 90 days report is today 7 may (I think I have 7 more days to report) but I traveled out of Thailand few weeks ago.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you leave Thailand with a re-entry permit, your 90-day reporting date resets to the day you re-enter Thailand. The 90-day reporting requirement is based on your most recent entry, so the countdown starts from the date you arrive back in the country.

z one final time this is how it works

IF you are IN thailand when the 90 day report is due you do it

IF you leave the country before a 90 day report is due, when you come back in to thailand your NEXT 90 day report is due 89 days from the date you stamp in.

DO NOT pay any attention to the date on your old 90 day report receipt OR the email that the system sends out automatically if you did the previous report online.

You count the days until the next 90 day report is due on your own from your arrival date

The 90 day report "resets" everytime you leave, as it is a report for those who STAY in thailand for 90 or more days. Leaving and returning will set it back to day 1

YES the 90 day report is FROM your most RECENT ENTRY into Thailand.

The day you arrive into Thailand counts as DAY #1
