I’m on a non immigrant ED visa and have already extended for the last time which expires June 18th. I left the country for a few days and came back on Monday using a reentry permit and my visa remained in tact. I expected my 90 day notification to start over but upon arrival I see I have the same June 11th expiry date in my passport on the 90 day report receipt. Will I need to report again or is this common practice to not pull the receipt out and update it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you re-enter Thailand using a re-entry permit on a non-immigrant ED visa, your original 90-day reporting date remains the same. The re-entry does not reset your reporting date; however, you are still required to report your stay every 90 days starting from the day of your arrival in the country.

Yes that is correct. You used a re-entry stamp and with this stamp you get the same end date as the original Admitted to Stay date. Your 90 day reporting, a total different thing and must be done when you stay 90 days inside the country starts on the day of your arrival, So arrival day is day 1 and than count by yourself till day 90 and that is the day you have to make a 90 day inside the country report.
