I'm flying to cambodia and coming back to BKK on 21 Dec. Trying to do the TM30 via the app. I can't seem to pick 21 Dec as the check in date. The app only allows me to pick today and yesterday. What are my options?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand from Cambodia, you must file the TM30 report within 24 hours of your arrival. The app does not allow you to select a future check-in date, only today or yesterday. Therefore, you need to wait until the day of your return to complete the TM30 process.

TM 30 is for reporting where you are really staying. That's why you have 24 hours window AFTER you arrive that address.

.. you also need the TM6 landing card number which you obviously don't get ... until you land, and is entered into the system by the IO.

Yes. You have to check into the place before you can use the application.

You can't pick the 21st as the check in date because today's not the 21st. You can't do it in advance. You have 24 hours from the time of check in to do the TM30
