Hi, if I travel to a different province within Thailand for a few days (e.g. checked in to a hotel), do I need to have my housemaster submit a TM30 (notification of residence for foreigners) within 24 hours when I am back at my home province? Appreciate your advice.

Not really. This inconvenient policy was pretty much shelved quite a few years ago. Some minority of backward offices may still request and enforce it. Just ensure you have a TM30 filed at your home before your next 90 day report or before you need any services from your local immigration office.

says - it varies. The easiest way is to just do it on your return. If your landlord only has one property registered - ask him to give you access to his registration and do it yourself each time you come and go. It literally takes minutes and you know its been done.

Have never submitted tm30 in nearly 10 years nor have I reset .y 90 days when re entering the country, just kept using the old date

I often travel but I keep my normal address. Even traveled to Vietnam once. Never told the landlord and never completed any paperwork on return. The Vietnam trip reset the 90 day report but I didn’t have to do anything.

Surly your hotel will do a TM30 for you at the hotel then let them know when you leave. So technically you’re not at your 1st TM 30. I would say yes but as people say they have not. Ask at your immigration office.

Will you be using Immigration services after your return to her home? If not don't worry. If she's a homeowner she should set up an account to do it online then it is easy to do.

A question for your immigration office, only they can answer. Every immigration office is different and the rule on this changes with personel changes in the office.

Yes. Every time you travel if you give your information to the hotel, then you must fill out a TM 30 when you return. I went through this before an immigration gave me a hard time about it.
