What could have caused the rejection of my Soft Power DTV visa application in Hanoi despite having all required documents?
Got rejected in hanoi Soft Power. All documents were fine. Money was in account.

AuthenticOstrich8866 how long was the bt500,000 equivalent in your personal bank account? If the full amount was in your account for less than 3 months, that is why it was rejected. That is the most common reason for rejection in Vietnam.

possibly Hanoi has a quota, and there is a limit to how many DTVs they are willing to issue. There have been other accounts of strong applications with no obvious justification for rejection, but they were rejected. Not so much with other consulates, rejections happen elsewhere but they are usually explainable: money not seasoned long enough, wrong type of account, soft power activity not long enough, etc.
