Hi, I’m about to apply for the soft power Muay Thai DTV visa in 3 months, as i have finally got the funds required, and i should meet all the requirements for the visa.

But I would like some advice before i hand out 10 000 baht for the application and 69 000 baht on a 6 month Muay Thai program.

With my visa history (6 months 2 borderruns in 2024, 5 months 1 borderrun in 2025 and 6 months on language school ED visa in 2026) will there be a big chance of the embassy (Scandinavian country) denying the application?

Should I go to Laos or another country to apply? Or any agents that I should talk with?

I really appreciate useful advice😁

Try a uhh…medical dtv visa instead it’s way easier and cheaper. Then just train Muay Thai when you’re here. The dtv Muay Thai programs are overpriced compared to usual school rates.

I honestly would buy the 1 year so no issues with immigration as asking for further documents

69,000 for 6 months?

Our gym charges less than half of that with unlimited training

Our gym charges less than that for 9 months

Less than that for a year

Your prior history is unlikely to affect your application. However if you are applying under soft power you can be asked how you will support yourself while being in Thailand, just the 500k baht you need to show won't answer that and I've seen a number of recent applications where the answer has been "I work remotely" being rejected. If you will work remotely you should apply using the Workation option

Previous travel history doesn’t come into it if applying for a DTV and meet the criteria .

Apply online for the DTV via the Thai embassy website outside of Thailand
