What can I do if my application for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card freezes when selecting accommodation?
THIM and TDAC notice
Need a clearer THIM and TDAC explanation? Read the THIM guide on thim.in.th.
When I get to “type of accommodation” the application seems to freeze ? Any help please !
Answer summary
Users are experiencing issues with the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) application freezing at the 'type of accommodation' section. Suggestions include checking for any errors in previous sections, trying different browsers or devices (especially using a desktop), ensuring arrival and departure dates are correctly filled, and confirming without specifying accommodation if necessary. Some users report the application can be completed without indicating an address, but it's essential to be within the 72-hour submission limit. A local lawyer or alternative websites may provide further assistance.

It could be so many different things but stick with it as it does work. I once couldn't even get on the site on my phone as it recognised my phone as A robot so had to complete on another phone.

It allowed me complete my application without specifying where I would be staying … when I arrived at immigration/Phuket airport - they asked me this same question - one assume to fill in the missing info …and on we went … it was my first time visiting /filling out form …

We have a simpler form with less errors here which is also FREE when submitting within 72 hours of your arrival:
It will ensure TDAC delivery even if the official system is not functioning it will attempt until it is successful. Also the form is resumable 😉

Are you using a mobile phone or iPad. Because I had no end of trouble with my visa application using those. As soon as I went on a desktop computer it went through.

Paul Nufc Watson don’t worry you can fill in early but within 72hrs you just need to update, done before, just be careful with the right address

When do you arrive? Be sure you don't try filling it in too early. 72 hours or less of arrival date/time.

I Had this issue—make sure you don’t accidentally put your arrival date the same as your departure date, just as I did 😅
Once I fixed that, it worked.

Daniel Torrez for me it worked to just not touch the departure date at all. Just leave it blank.
