Hope that helps anyone moving from 1 province to another changing the place where they get their extension from.
I asked the newly opened immigration of my province if I could move there to do my 90days and Visa instead of going all the way to Bangkok everytime.
Answer from the immigration:
- File a change of address.
- Ask the owner of the house (my in-laws in that case) to show up and declare that you live there.
- The house owner must bring his/her ID and House Registration (Tambian Baan)
- You passport must have a valid Non Visa for at least 2-3months for the process.
- In case you have to show funds for your Non-O (marriage) same procedure applies (show funds deposited and still in an account for at least 2 months)
- 8 pictures of my current place (inside and outside) with the relatives, my wife and kid.
*attached below is what I was provided with
- A TM.30 form
- A list to be filled with the details of Aliens who reside there.
TLDR : Answer Summary
To change your residency address for immigration purposes in Thailand, you need to file a change of address with your local immigration office. Key steps include having your house owner (e.g., your in-laws) present to declare your residence, providing their ID and House Registration, having a valid Non-O visa for a few months, and potentially demonstrating funds if on a marriage visa. Additionally, you'll need to submit 8 pictures of your current living arrangements.
