If you have a Mexican (or Canadian) passport you’re entitled to a 60 days visa exemption and free stamp upon arrival. Your previous travel history seems quite clean, and nothing indicates that you’re not still just a genuine tourist.
Be aware of that’s it’s a formal requirement for visa exemption entries to show proof of an onward ticket within 60 days regardless if you plan to apply for a 30 days extension.

yes I have Mexican passport. I usually apply for tourist visa online and pay the fee (I assume this process is not visa exception, right?) I’ve noticed in this visa they give 60 daysMy actual question is: if I want to stay up to 90 days should I get my return flight for the 90th day(or before) or get a refundable flight for the 60th day then apply to the 30 day extension?
And finally, is it necessary to get the outbound flight to apply for the online 60 day visa? Or just the inbound?

that answer was the BOOK ANSWER. But not necessarily the truth. I flew in yesterday on a one-way flat out no onward travel at all. I do it all the time. 25 seconds in front of immigration officer, stamp/stamp have a nice day. That makes leaving when you decide to leave lots easier.Reply to
