Just for general info. Visited chonburi immigration (Jomtien) around 10.am to do my 1st ever tm30 report. I was told there was no need to return again to do any more as we were owners of condo. I have non 'O' retirement extension. All very straightforward, no queue. Staff wearing Halloween face make up πŸ˜„πŸ‘»

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience regarding the TM30 reporting process at the Jomtien Immigration office in Chonburi. They reported that as condo owners with a Non-O retirement extension, they were informed that they would not need to file further TM30 reports after their initial submission. Other commenters added that procedures might vary by immigration office, and those who leave Thailand and return must file a TM30, but intra-country travel does not require it.

Following my reply above I received this helpful message from the OP...

Hi James, I saw your comment on my post but wasn't able to reply. The young girl doing the tm30's this morning told me no need to report again. I specifically asked her if I go for holiday to Cambodia do I have to report again and she said no, because I have read what you are saying so I wanted to make sure. I am aware of varying procedures at different offices but I just wanted to put that info out about my experience at Jomtien. We had just arrived back from UK yesterday after a month. Kind regards Pauline

Ps she specifically stated coz we are condo owners no need for report but to make sure if we have friends or family to stay that we report them"

Again...I say be sure to check with your local immigration office re their specific TM30 requirements...

As it also can appear to differ within the same office...even Jomtien

Good Luck to us ALLπŸ˜‰

May I add that IF YOU LEAVE Thailand...upon your return you do need to file a TM30 at Jomtien Immigration. I use Jomtien and that is what I have been told this month upon my return from visiting the USA.

No need to file a TM30 if travel within Thailand

thanx for the update. Folks understand this is ONLY for the Jomtien immigration office, so totally disregard it if you don't use that office..

With 70+ immigration offices out there, check with your particular office to see what they want you to do TM30-wise..
