Good morning. Could you advise the current lead time for Retirement Visa (Non-O) 12 month renewal documentation applicable at Jomtien Immigration, Soi 5, please. I see one month, six weeks and two months suggested but would like to be absolutely sure how early I can get the process done. With Songkhran approaching, better too soon than too late !! TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The lead time for renewing a Retirement Visa (Non-O) at Jomtien Immigration is suggested to be between one month to two months. However, it's advisable to apply for the renewal when you have 30 days or less remaining on your current visa stamp, which allows you to initiate the renewal process any time within this window.

I've been to the Immigration Chonburi (Jomtien) last week for information. An officer told me, that I can come 40 days or less before my stamp expires. I suppose they change it because of Songkran holidays.
Some offices are 45 days before your stamp expires, most are 30, and I always just parrot off 30 days or less as the answer because then it works at what ever office you're going to use ๐
