Quick question. When I go to Jomtien immigration next week to submit documentation for 12-month extension to non-o (retirement) forms TM7 & TM8 (multi re-entry), will everything be done the same day or will I need to return for the stamp in the passport? I did ask this question when I went to get the forms but, despite the sign above the desk being INFORMATION, I was told that they don’t answer questions, just give out forms & queue numbers.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for obtaining a non-O retirement visa extension and multi re-entry permit at Jomtien immigration may vary. While some users report being able to receive their one-year stamp on the same day if all requirements are met, others indicate that it is common for Jomtien immigration to require a return visit the next day. Additionally, some experiences suggest that the re-entry permit process follows the visa extension and also involves a separate submission. It is recommended to check Jomtien's LINE official account for updates on the status of your visa.

When you submit your documents, if all goes well you should get a one year stamp right away. However, it can be different in Jomtien but there is a LINE official account of Jomtien Immigration that you can add and check status of your visa whether it is approved so you can come back to get your stamp. A retirement visa is same day in Bangkok. Visa first then a re-entry later, it is two diferrent step.
