Hi, I'm going to the Thai embassy in Laos next Monday to get my non immigrant visa for work (btw Nok Air cancelled my rly and ride round trip ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Š).

I just got my TM30 receipt last week since I moved to a new condo here in CM.

Reading posts on here it looks like I have to report to immigration about TM 30 in CM the following day because I have left the country? Is this correct?

Many thanks for the precious help.

If your Immigration Office enforce your landlord or house owner to report a foreigner staying at their address, then the report must be made. If you like to take the honors of your land lord or house owner, visit your local Immigration Office and find out what they require and which documents are needed.

I just flew in on a new multiple entry non O visa based on marriage from Ho Chi Minh. Do I need to file a TM30 or is this required only when I re-enter every 90 days?

technically yes. Every foreigner needs to be reported TM30 for sure.

But better to check with your local immigration office for sure. required report condition and timing, how to report is slightly different each office.

... you need to do a TM30 EVERY time you leave then re-enter Thailand. The TM30 has your TM6 (landing card) number on it and you fill out a new TM6 every time you enter so the TM30 must be updated.

Yes, you must file a TM30 no later than 24 hours after arrival, legally. Ask your local immigration office for more details about their specific policy.

you need to file a NEW TM30 when you come back IN to the country from abroad.

It is done at the new location opened at the Promenada Mall now NOT at the location by the airport.

thanks I really had no idea and probably wouldn't have done anything without browsing this group. What's the time frame to file the new TM after I get back? Can the agent do it for me and how long does this process take? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
