TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the renewal process for their expired education visa, specifically if they need to renew by September 27. Comments suggest that if the user is still studying, they can apply for an extension, provided they have necessary documentation from their school. It is also noted that if the visa has expired, they must leave Thailand by September 26 due to amnesty policies. Engaging with the school and immigration office is advised to ensure proper procedures and documents for visa renewal are followed.

actually many schools were telling their students to let their extensions expire, take the amnesty and then before this latest amnesty expires get paperwork from the school and go get their next extension.

Talk to your school about getting the paperwork to get your extension. They are the people you need to be talking to..

Better to talk to your school and your immigration office if you can apply for extension based studying after amnesty. Answer could be varied if you continued same course, same school different course, or different school, etc.

If you let your extension of stay expire, you are on amnesty and you must leave Thailand no later than Sept 26.

You could not have entered on a visa in early May because the borders were closed.

The school you are actually going to should have given you all the documents needed to do this, before your extension expired. It is basically the same as the extension you had to get every 90 days, and those documents the school gave you to do that, if you are in a language school, as most are. If you are at a university they would have made the documents needed when the new school year started available, just like last year. Either way, immigration will require your enrollment documents from the school.

you can apply for an extension of stay if you are still studying.
