What should I do if I can't meet the liquid asset requirement for my Thai visa application before my flight?
Hi everyone,
I submitted the request for DTV
I have way more than 500.000 Thb in my whole banking assets but less on my liquid bank account (part of the money is in liquid investments).
I moved on the bank account part of them in order to reach 500000 thb but I cannot change the situation for the past 2 months and I have to leave in October (already bought the flight).
Did someone experience a similar situation ?

I had the money in my account for about 7 minutes before I printed my bank statement...
Buuuuut, I provided back statements from the account I get paid into and highlighted the weekly income, so they could see that I got paid into the other accounts.

You cannot change the past but you can change the future, so you will have to change your flight and wait 2 more months. Or you just fly to Thailand under visa exemption, then after 2 months you return home or go to a neighboring country and apply for the visa. The visa requirements are clear so I donMt know what you were thinking🤷♂️. And yes, many experienced not having the funds long enough in their bank accounts so they got rejected or they just waited

I mean that I cannot modify the bank account summary for june and July Because is past. I can move the investments in 5 working days maximum and this is what I did but it will appear in august summary not the past ones. Hope is more clearRoyce *****

I think Italy requires 3 mths seasoning of funds, email them to double check.. If you apply there then include a letter explaining your situation .Andi ***********

Ok, when did you apply ? They may ask for another statement.. other embassies have done similar. Also if you put October as your departing date they will process other applications before then, so they may not reply quickly.Lucia ***********

I did. I uploaded a pdf with a letter explaining all the situation. I am worried they reject instantly before asking more documents. I ll call the embassy today also and I wrote an email

You have 2 choices really. One is to change your flight and make sure you have ample time for visa processing. Second is to take a chance because you are special and have a special situation that warrants special consideration from consular to expedite your special application.
