Hello everyone 👋🏽. Im new to the group and i tried to look for this question that im sure have already been asked. I plan to fly into Thailand on 30 May; and i have got some conflicting information from all over the place. Question : do i need to apply for the DTV before i leave for Thailand , like now and do i need to have my required documents apostled before i arrive? Will i be required to appear in person at the US immigration office? Thank you so much and please give grace if these questions have already been answered 🙏🏽.

The question is a little confusing.

Yes apply for DTV before entering Thailand. Do not apply then enter Thailand on a tourist visa. Wait until DTV is approved which likely will not be before end of May. No need to apostle documents, what does US immigration office have to do with your question?
