Is it normal for my DTV visa application to be pending document check for more than a week?

I have applied for DTV visa Online in Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam, on 3rd june 2026, today is 10 June my request still on " Pending Documents Check " is this normal?
I have a flight to BKK this week, I have sent the Embassy an email regarding my request but still no answer

After got first time Req docs it'a change to pending approval ? and then they request docs again?

OPHo Chi Minh is not longer than 15 business days, that's why I'm asking you, it has been than 10 business days now

Anonymous participant how are you sure it's not more than 15 business days to process? If you use the search tool you will find posts reporting 5, 10, 15, 21 days, and longer sometimes 25 days. Including weekends. In extreme cases for more than 30 days. From June 3 to today 11 is only 8 days or 6 business days.

Your application process began June 4th. Approvals are not as fast as before, expect around 15 business days.

Did you search the group? Approval time is reported as wildly different for each person. Between 5 to 25 days or even longer in the extreme cases.

You should have checked with keyword ‘Ho Chi Minh’ in this group. They take longer processing time even longer than Hanoi.
