TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the desire for a visa agent to handle documentation and processing for the poster, who expresses unwillingness to do it personally despite knowing they can. Comments vary from concerns about the high fees of agents (some charging up to 100k Baht) to advice suggesting that self-application is simpler and avoids additional frustration. Some users recommend specific agents and emphasize the importance of personal research and preparation for successful visa application.

Can definitely recommend Solutions - Koh Samui

They can certainly help and very efficient and give a % to charity for ALL work undertaken.

A very community aware company that loves to give back.

Pm me if anyone here needs an agent. Will do all the paperwork. Just require you to provide full pages of your passport and your national ID card.
Somari *********
@Kenny ****
your prices are insanely ridiculous!

Fas ist recht einfach, habe ich selber gemacht. Schreib mich an wenn du willst ich erkläre dir alles in ruhe, es sind nur paar Dokumente und das ganze kostet nur 10k bath

Many comments here mention the stress of the DTV application by one’s self.

Sometimes just the thought of ‘visa paperwork’ causes panic and stress. But in my recent experience of self application DTV, it was the most straightforward, quick and simple visa process Ive experienced after 12 years of , non B, non Ed, tourist, non O retirement visas… especially prohibitive necessity to be in country around annual extension/renewal time.

So I exited last month with about 4 months still on my Non-O, applied for and came back on a DTV. i

Seriously, if you meet the criteria, it is a really straightforward process.

If you’re concerned about applying for the DTV, have you considered how stressed you could be if you stay in country for the full 180 days, when you have to go to extend the visa at an immigration office. There has not been a post about 180 day extension application yet because no one has been on a DTV for 6 months yet. Not meaning to scaremonger, but they may or may not require supporting documents to extend.

Anyway my point is to assure you that in some Thai consulates it is a quick easy process.

Wow so many moral pirates here - listen my time and nerves are worth more then 100k - you don’t want to pay it? Ok but don’t judge people who want to pay it - thanks 😘
Brian *********
@Max **********
it’s not about morality… it’s the idea that it will take you more time and effort with an agent than without. If your time is worth something, do it yourself…
Todd *********
@Max **********
it’s an ongoing issue. Put them on ignore. No big deal

Good morning,

If you are in Thailand, you need to fly out on holiday to a destination of your choice, and we will apply for the visa online for you.

If you are outside Thailand, that’s even better. We will apply for the visa online, and once it is approved, you can travel to Thailand.

We provide all the necessary Thai boxing documents from the gym to support your visa application.

Our services and supporting documents cost "20,000 Baht", payable after your visa is approved.

Requirements from you:

1. Email

2. Phone number

3. Passport data page

4. Bank statement showing 500,000 Baht

5. Proof of your current location (e.g., utility bill, invoice with your name and address, visa stamp in your current country, or hotel booking)

6. Photo with a white background (you can take it with your phone)

We will handle the Thai boxing support documents for you.

Please note that the visa fee must be paid using your credit card.

I am sending you this message to provide our information. If you need more details or additional options, feel free to contact me at Namtan: 0985940362.

Pay Thai Elite. Very easy,no need to show funds in a bank or any kind of employment. Just pay and you get your visa.

5 - 10 or 20 years
Todd *********
Flemming Rønnow admittedly, Thai Elite makes very little financial sense for anyone now. With LTR and DTV, it’s value is DRASTICALLY decreased
Andi ***********
@Flemming *******
No longer, value for money. Perks are not that great too.

@Max **********
exactly what you are looking for. Pay money, get a visa.

But you forgot to mentioned that it had to be very cheap?
Max ***********

@Flemming *******
pay 10k$ + for 5 years or 2k - you would be very stupid to chose the elite way even if you don’t know you will stay here the next 5 years
Chris ******
@Max **********
I’m confused…why?
Max ***********

@Chris *****
if I will move in 1 year I wasted 10k instead of 2,5K that’s why
Hunter ************
If you pay me 100k I’ll literally do it for you. Just send me the money and pdf documents of everything they require and I’ll do it for you.
Tim ********
Maybe people hoping the agent can swing certain things like they do on other visas !!!
마리오 ***
Its actually easier & faster to just do it yourself. You still have to gather and provide all the information to your agent. Then you have to wait on them to process the paperwork and get back to you. Cut out the middle man.

@Jamé ******
that's not how it works you finding someone to do it for you actually takes more time and work than doing it yourself
Jamé *******
@Ayoub ********
👌🏽 Thanks.
Ayoub *********
@Jamé ******
& they charge a extortion for something that is so easily done, honestly just do some research and I promise it's better to do it your own
Ayoub *********
@Jamé ******
no problem sis
Somari *********
@Jamé ******
I'm hearing that agents are charging enormous fees despite there's only one portal you can apply on which is the Thai e visa website. I would recommend only getting support and direction, but apply yourself. Support is highly recommended in my opinion.
Jamé *******
@Somari ********
Thank you 🙏🏼. I will definitely keep that in mind!
Somari *********
@Jamé ******
I applied to the wrong location New York out of being to anxious, so yes guidance is recommended unless you know you have all your documents and procedures while applying.
Quincy *******
@Somari ********
the New York Thai embassy? I'm curious because I think that I'm going to have to go through them when I return next year. I'm from Brooklyn. I'm just hoping that I can have the money in the bank to prove it by the time it comes to do my application. A few family health scares and having to send a few thousand dollars back for a boiler replacement aren't helping my DTV war chest.
Somari *********
@Quincy ******
yes New York is where my application was sent.
Jamé *******
@Somari ********
what is the turnaround time for denial/approval?
Somari *********
@Jamé ******
it took two weeks for them just to tell I applied to the wrong location, but they still took my additional information so I thought they were going to process it. Finally after two months nothing happened and they definitely told me I had to use los Angeles which is my location. I just reapplied 4 days ago, so I'm waiting.
Brian *********
With an agent you’re actually going to do more work than on your own… it’s not just more expensive, it’s more annoying too
Pete ********
@Brian ********
for people who don’t actually run a business , have income to show , have 500k baht to show for people who just want the5 year visa quick and easy ….. use your brain buddy
Brian *********
@Pete *******
exactly - so why use an agent?
Pete ********
@Brian ********
are you serious?

If you don’t have your own company or don’t have 500 k baht in bank or don’t work remotely then you can’t have the dtv

An agent can make it happen regardelsss of you having the correct requiremts for the visa or not

Again

Use your brain
Hasan ***********
@Pete *******
You made a fair point, some people are just clueless.
Brian *********
@Hasan **********
it’s not a fair point at all. It’s a silly idea… using an agent to try to circumvent basic visa requirements for the DTV is a fool’s errand.
Hasan ***********
@Brian ********
You just have to accept the fact that some people just won’t meet the visa requirements and will have to go through an agent. Sure they shouldn’t be here if they don’t meet the requirements but that won’t stop them and people like that are agents bread and butter.

It’s a win win situation for most people, money talks here.
Brian *********
@Pete *******
Uh, yes you can. That’s why you can use soft power or any other method. If you don’t work remote or have 500k thb, then you shouldn’t be applying for the DTV under workation…. Neither will agents allow you to cheat and put themselves at risk by pretending to be your employer or lie for you.
Pete ********
@Brian ********
dude you literally have zero brain cells 😆 enjoy your day 👍
