If they do want the map you can draw one while you're there, you really just have to get the main roads right,

My "map is a 4 way intersection showing two main roads with an x that says "Todz house"

many offices will NOT let you print out a google map showing your place. They want you to hand draw it to show you actually know where you live not that you can use google for an address 😛
