Here is an up to date documents list for Non O visa for retirement at phuket immigration. Has anyone successfully applied for this visa when renting a room and did you need all the documents from numbers 7 to 10 or is that just for property owners.

7-10 were required when I applied for my father in Phuket in September 2022. He was renting a condo. The contract was signed by a company officer with power of attorney, but they insisted on documents signed by the property owner named on the chanote.

Usually, you need copies of your contract/agreement, property registration, and owner's ID & bluebook, for proof of accommodation.

You have to check with your local immigration office when you have unclear points on the requirement list. That is the only way you can be sure.

Thank you for the update. Members, this is for an initial in-country Non-O visa based on retirement at Phuket immigration ONLY. Please be aware that it is NOT eligible for you if you are applying for your visa at any other immigration office or you are applying for a 1-year extension at the Phuket office.

And it's better you always check with your local immigration office (including the Phuket office) for the latest list.
