My husband and I are buying a car and plan on traveling around Thailand. We both have a NON-O visa. Once we leave our (rental) condo in a month we will no long have a permanent address. We will be staying in hotels, guesthouses etc..... Will we be able to go to any immigration to do our 90 day report? The reporting will be different provinces most of the time.
Is this possible or do we need a permanent address?

TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion focuses on the challenges of 90-day reporting for expats with a NON-O visa who are traveling without a permanent address. It highlights that typically, 90-day reports must be filed at the immigration office corresponding to the area where the visa was initially issued. While online reporting is mentioned as an alternative, having a registered residence is crucial. Some users share experiences of successfully reporting while in temporary accommodation, provided that a TM30 form is filed by the hotel or guesthouse. Overall, flexibility and adapting to individual circumstances are necessary when navigating the 90-day reporting process.

Thank you everyone for all your advice. We have just renewed our visa so that's good for another year. We are planing taking up residence once in awhile. So maybe that will be every 90 days ๐.
The information you have given us is definitely helpful. I thought it might be difficult so we'll be playing it by ear and get a TM30 when need be.
I'm not saying this will be the same for every immigration but I have done that at Krabi before. Our 90 day was due in the middle of moving provinces but we wanted a trip in-between moves, which meant we were staying in a hotel when it was due. They just wanted to see a print out of the tm30 from the hotel.

thanx for that, I think the linch pin IS indeed that where ever you're staying filed a TM30 on you showing that's where you are "residing" now.. :)

Usually you will need to have a rental agreement to renew your Visa. Do you have plans for that?

Good Point BUT i think that's getting the cart before the horse a little. They're just asking about doing 90 day reporting when they travel around thailand at this point.
point taken (y) it is definitely gonna be a task for the O/P and their spouse to do 90 day reporting AND get a new yearly extension with no permanent address here.

There could be a chance that where ever you're staying files a TM30 on you and your husband (the notification of foreigner in residence form) and that would show you are at that address and you MIGHT be able to then file a 90 day report at that immigration office.
BUT
With over 70 offices in the country it's gonna be a total crap shoot whether they will let you do it or not :( Sorry, there is no "one size fits all answer" :(

You can report on line, I do

I didn't mention that because you need to use an address to do that, and they won't have one.

As a general rule NO you won't be able to rock up to what ever immigration office serves the area where you live and file a 90 day report.
You file the 90 day report based on where you got your yearly extension of stay from ..

Tod is correct you can only do your 90 day report at the office where you received your extension of stay

now with that being said, I think it's gonna come down to you showing up AT the immigration office where ever it is you're trying to do your 90 day report and seeing what their policy is about it.
