When applying for the O-A, or O visa, does one need to have fixed address? I think during the 90-day reporting OA and O-visa holders are supposed to reaffirm their address or something, is that correct? Or to rephrase this question, can one apply for a OA or O visa without a fixed address and roam around Thailand throughout the 1 year (and only return to Bangkok every 90 days to do reporting)?
(disclaimer: I have not applied for such a visa yet, just exploring the differences between the different visas.)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The application for the O-A or O visa in Thailand does not require a fixed address, as holders can roam freely around the country. However, it is necessary to register your accommodation using a TM.30 form. While the first 90-day report must be done in person at the nearest immigration office, subsequent reports may be completed online. Updates from comments indicate that visa regulations might slightly vary by immigration office.
