What are the requirements and tips for extending a tourist visa at Phuket Immigration?

Just got my first 30 day extension of stay on my tourist visa at Phuket Immigration (Phuket Road).

Open 08:30 - 12:00 (last ticket issued at 11:30) then 13:00 - 16:00.

Dress code enforced (people in front turned away).

Info required:

Passport

1900 bhat cash

Completed TM7 form

One passport photo

Signed photocopy of personal info page of passport

Signed photocopy of entry stamp in passport

Signed photocopy of visa in passport

Signed photocopy of departure card

Ticket issued at 11:29 ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. Passport returned just before 12:00. If you miss this you have to wait until 13:00.

In Bangkok they sure ain't turning anyone away. I saw people in thai beer singlets, cargo shorts flip-flops, halter tops, short shorts, etc. >:( They do make you cover your shoulders with a scarf of something when they take your picture, but that's about it .

They have the similar sign out at Chaengwattana in Bangkok. Thankfully there is no mention of people wearing KISS t-shirts, so I'm okay (y)

Great post, succinct & to the point. I also see people scrambling about holding everybody else up whilst they try to understand what is required and get their documents in order. I didn't notice the dress code being enforced in Korat, but, I always wear a dress shirt, dress shorts & appropriate footwear.
