What does 6.3 entail and do I need to provide both 6.1 and 6.3 for my marriage visa in Thailand?

Is anyone able to tell me what 6.3 is? Do I need to provide 6.1 and 6.3 or would 6.1 be enough? It isn't clear if 6.3 is additional information that must be provided.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the necessity of submitting documentation 6.1 and 6.3 for a marriage visa in Thailand. Responses clarify that if married in Thailand, both the original KorRor 2 and the marriage certificate (KorRor 3) are required. For marriages outside Thailand, a marriage certificate and an embassy letter confirming the marriage are essential. Detailed documentation like photographs and a map of the residence may also be needed during the visa process.

Unless things have changed....you will need your ORIGINAL KorRor 2 from the municipality office where you got married AS WELL AS your marriage certificate (KorRor 3). Both should be in your 'important documents' folder stashed somewhere. You ONLY get those if you got married here in the Kingdom. OTHERWISE, that means you got married anywhere else in the world, which means you need 2 things: the marriage certificate from the place you got married AS WELL AS an embassy/consulate letter stating you are married. If your embassy doesn't issue those (US Consulate does, and it's $50), you need a statement from the consulate/embassy stating that (they will have a form letter). One last thing...if this is your first time doing the marriage visa thing, you WILL need photographs of you and your spouse standing by your house with the address showing, you and your spouse in your living room, and you and your spouse in your bedroom (all sitting down, please). Also, a map using their form. We used to have people print out a Google Map and cut it out so we could paste it into the map form. The process is tedious, but not complex. Good luck!

I would say both 6.2 and 6.3 are needed, if married outside of Thailand, because of the statement at the bottom about translation. The documents at 6.1 are required if married in Thailand.

That is what confuses me. It states for documents 6.1.3, 6.2 and 6.3 must be translated...I also checked the British Embassy and they don't seem to provide any certification for 6.3 (doesnt mean it isnt required though)

yes it is confusing, but after dealing with Thai requirements for a while, you get used to it. I would say only translate the English documents needed.

Were you married in Thailand?

It means or...6.1 or 6.2 or 6.3.
